Aim for weighing yourself once a week, preferably at the same time every day. You might opt for the morning on an empty stomach, but I’ll leave that up to you. No matter if it’s morning or night, as long as you’re keeping track of your gains or losses, you’re on the path to success. It’s so much easier staying motivated when you have someone who is just as motivated as you are to reach their goals.

Think about a friend you have right now that loves to exercise and stay active. Give them a call today and set up a time to meet up and do whatever exercise you like the most. There are no better motivational tips than having someone by your side to push you to reach your health and fitness goals.

Choose the Healthiest Option

 
This is one of the healthy diet tips that will save you pounds in the future. Look, I get it, you can’t always take your Tupperware of food with you. Sometimes you’re in a rush (or you’re traveling) and your only option is to grab a quick bite to eat at the first fast food restaurant you can find. When you’re stuck with no other options than this, make sure that you take the time to glance over the nutritional facts of what you’re ordering.

Now I’m just going to say that I would never recommend you go to a fast food place like Macdonalds, or any of those type of places. Let’s say you need to stop in at Denny’s or Sonic’s or Chili’s for a quick bite to eat. The best diet tip I can give you is to choose the healthiest option for whatever food you want. It may not seem like much, but it will save you thousands of calories in the long run.

Now, this is one of those diet tips that you just can’t ignore. Every single person who wants to lose weight and get in shape has to start their day out with a healthy breakfast. I don’t care if you grab two slices of whole wheat bread and pound a protein shake out the door on your way to work. You absolutely need to eat breakfast in the morning. Although, I do have one of the best diet tips for combating the huge amount of calories you can consume in a few hours at the bar.

After each drink you have, make sure to order (and drink!) a glass of water. Drinking water in between alcoholic drinks not only saves you a vicious hangover in the morning, but it also allows your body to slowly adjust to the alcohol while keeping you in check from overindulging on those liquid calories.

If you give them a shot, you’ll notice that you can get through pretty much any situation in life and still maintain your healthy lifestyle. There are many exercise tips and diet tips that want to tell you that you have to live your life a certain way and that you can never take control of your own diet. I wouldn’t expect you to just follow any fitness tips you hear about or read about without doing your own homework.
